USPS Jazz Stamp Poster

The United States Postal Service celebrated founders of American jazz through a series of commemorative stamps. To make an impact at that year's Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, I was asked to design a limited-edition art poster for sale at the event. For inspiration, I looked to period letterpress posters and prints. The poster features clean, crisp stamp images upon a textured wood-cut style treatment of the copy. At the show, the print sold out on the first day.
